Imperfectly Following a Perfect God
Hey! My name is Jessica. I am a single mom of a beautiful 18 month old little girl, hold down a full time and a part time job, and lead a small group in my church for single moms in the heart of Montana. It is my hope to help other single moms come to develop a deeper relationship with Jesus, or know Him for the first time, as He is the only one who can help us rise above the circumstances in our lives. Through my own experience, I know that though there are some dark, lonely, and hard moments in a single mom's life, there is light at the end of the tunnel. You CAN live an abundant life. It is a promise, as in John 10:10. God wants nothing but the best for you, in spite of our many short comings. With this blog, I hope I can help you come to understand God's love and His will, His good and perfect will, for your life, mixed with my signature dry sarcasm and somewhat rusty writing skills of course. :)
I'm so glad you've stumbled upon my blog, and hope you find some comfort, companionship, and some laughs as we walk along this journey together!
"7 Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. 8 All whoever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. 9 I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. 10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. 11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep."
-- John 10: 7-11
